Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until very early Tuesday, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.
We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday around 4am EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 20.5 degrees of Virgo. This lasts until Friday morning, when the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact (more on that later this week… however, feel free to watch my video on the subject here — it will be posted by Monday, Oct. 28th in the evening at the latest).
We are being asked to slow down and get quiet so we can listen to our intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can, stay grounded, take a deep breath, and exhale any tension.
Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.
This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Monday morning, a harmonious Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:31am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday morning (Oct. 21st) on; it will remain strong until Nov. 5th.
This aspect brings the ability to endow what we feel passionate about with our creativity — and connect it to a higher love. Our masculine energies can connect to compassion and understanding.
We can now release past issues; through loving ourselves, we can release emotional blockages and the lower vibrations of the masculine: aggression, domineering, destructiveness, and me-first attitudes.
As this aspect is taking place in Cancer and Pisces, we are connecting to our goals and dreams from an emotional place that is deeply spiritual.
We are more able to let go of our fears and attachments and can have faith that everything will turn out just as it needs to.
Ask yourself: Is there anything I can release from my past that no longer serves me? How has anger shown up in my life? Could I allow the part of me that feels anger to be embraced and accepted?
Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, or 0-1 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius will be touched in a particularly beautiful way by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces).
Monday late morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:35am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Oct. 25th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Oct. 30th).
This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves up to this point — a process of maturing that requires us to adjust and stay flexible.
On the one hand, we want to connect in a more external, fast-paced way, exploring life and expanding our horizons.
On the other hand, we feel a sharp need to be authentic about our intuitive connection to life and learn what works and what doesn’t when it comes to this inner spiritual journey.
This may involve looking for practical applications of our connection to Source or one-consciousness and determining what’s realistic.
This aspect provides an excellent foundation for fulfilling our dreams and supports our interconnectedness with all beings. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.
We tend to be more cautious regarding relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship.
Financially, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.
The key here is to approach both in a spirit that combines authenticity and maturity rather than attachment to a certain outcome.
Pushing will most likely not get us what we want — better to go one slow and steady step at a time, so we can come back later (if needs be) with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, or Gemini? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Monday at 11:54pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last for 36 minutes, until 12:30am EDT (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to empower each other around earthly issues and support each other in practical ways.
Your attention to detail is enhanced; you might implement new health routines or other systems that support your long-term goals.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening/night ahead of time.
