As part of The Flinn Gallery's new exhibition, Beyond Street Art, encompassing the work of 5 iconic street artists who have evolved their careers into becoming globally recognized contemporary artists, California-based artist Blake Jamieson, featured in the show, will be giving a free talk this Sat. Feb 3, at 2pm, on his specialty, "Using Social Media to Promote Your Art."
Blake began his career in digital marketing, helping brands differentiate themselves using social media and content marketing. After 7 years, he decided he needed to make a change: Stop working towards someone else’s dream, and start pursuing his own. His favorite artists are Shepard Fairey and Andy Warhol - for their art and their marketing abilities.
