CHECK OUT THE NEW "GALLERY" FEATURE ON YOUR PROFILE
Artist members have a new feature on your Artist Profiles on the CAFC website. 

You can now upload images of up to 4 recent works to show in a new "Gallery" space. When clicked, the works expand to full screen size. This feature is intended to enable artists to freshen their artist profiles with their latest work for visitors to the CAFC to see. Viewers will then be able to link to the artist's own website, or store site (like Artsy), to see and purchase work they are interested in. See Joseph Dermody's profile at right as an example. 
To do this, log-in to your account and click the  "My Membership" link on your Dashboard.

When you profile opens, scroll ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM (past your images, past your social media URLs.

The very last box at the bottom of the My Membership profile page is titled Recent Work: Gallery of recent work.

At the very bottom, click on the free ADD TO GALLERY button and your Media Library will open. Add images as usual.

You can add up to 4 images, as large as 50MB in jpg, jpeg or png formats.

CT SEA GRANT ARTS AWARD

Connecticut Sea Grant, through its competitive funding program the Arts Support Awards Program, will award up to $1000 to an artist or group of artists. The winning submission will be selected on the basis of aesthetic quality, relevance to coastal and marine environments and Connecticut Sea Grant themes, as well as its potential impact on non-traditional “audiences.” Eligibility: Artists or groups of artists who live in Connecticut, or whose work is related to Connecticut’s coastal and marine environments and/or Long Island Sound are eligible for funding consideration. All artistic disciplines are eligible. Previous recipients of Sea Grant Arts Awards are not eligible for 5 years .Deadlines: Submissions will be accepted at any time up until the deadline for the 2021 funding year which is Wednesday May 12, 2021.
