| | | | | It's time to gather images and create your profile on the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County's new website. Here's what to do. |
| | First gather three images and size them as follows:- a square headshot image (250x250 pixels, 1 MB max file size) +
- an almost 4:1 (1600 wide x 430h), “hero image” that could be of a painting, your workspace, a public art piece or any other strong background (see examples above; max. file size, 1MB).
- a 2:1 (510 wide x 260 high) “reference” shot of you and some of your work (Max file size 1MB) - see examples below.

You start this process as if you are a new member; forget your old password, but use the email address you use with the current FCBuzz.org. Just enter your name into the "Directory Name" box. After you have finished and you have hit "Join Now," you will be sent a new password from WordPress, which you can then change once you have logged in. - Scroll to bottom
Select “Individual Artist” from the drop-down menu under “Member Information and Budget.” As soon as you select “Individual Artist” a pop-up will tell you to pay $50 and ask you to select payment method. If your membership is due August, Sept, or Oct (see list below) you will need to pay. If your name is not on the list below, and you know you are up-to-date, select "Pay by Check". You will not have to pay. We will see your application, know that you are current and will approve your application. - Complete your "Description" (give us a good paragraph; like the "About" page on your own website - please don't just write "visual artist")
- Submit the three images:
- - the square headshot (250x250 pixels) +
- - the “hero image” (1600 wide x 430h) that stretches across the whole page
- - the “reference” (510 wide x 260 high) image of you and your work
- Click the blue JOIN NOW button at the bottom
- You will then get a confirmation email (from WordPress) w/user name and password
- Go to: Member Login and enter your user name and password to log back in as a member
- Once you are logged in you can check or change your membership information by clicking on the “membership” icon on the left menu
- To add an event, go to “events” on the left menu.
