Subject: ARTISTS - Can you help us with Giving Day this Thursday?

CAN YOU HELP US WITH GIVING DAY?
Thursday Feb. 25, 2021
As you may know, Fairfield County's Community Foundation has organized another Giving Day: an entire 24-hour day dedicated to focused and concentrated donations to registered nonprofit organizations.

While there are many worthy organizations, and while many of you may have primary commitments to other nonprofits, I am appealing to you, individually, to see if you can make this a significant fundraising event for the Cultural Alliance.

We are pitching our appeal as an organization that creates and strengthens the cultural infrastructure of coastal Fairfield County, in which artists and cultural nonprofits can thrive, through our intense networkingconnecting, professional development and information sharing. Now we are campaigning to deepen our reach and raise all the voices of our communities. Culture is wide and deep - help us in our new campaign to give voice to all residents, artists and cultural groups.

3 Ways You Can Help

1. REGISTER: You can register on our site as a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser (click for a helpful toolkit) and have your own tag that will count up all the funds you raise and have it indicated on our page. You can do this easily yourself by clicking the FUNDRAISE button on our page. Or let me know and I can register you.

2. ENLIST OTHERS. If you don’t want to register, you can still enlist your friends and colleagues to make a donation on Thursday. You can ask your social media followers to prepare to donate and include the link to our Giving Day page. (Click here to download the Giving Day logo). Ideally donations should be made at times when there are prizes and bonuses:
1. at midnight;
2. up until 9am;
3. between 3 and 4pm; and/or
4. between 9pm and 11:59pm.

3. DONATE. Donate $10 or more, ideally in the above time slots on Thursday. There are prizes for both total amount raised and for number of unique donors over those specific time slots.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

And Thank You!
