Artwork Archive's Art Business Accelerator Grant provides 10 visual artists with unrestricted funds of $2,500, a lifetime Master account with Artwork Archive, and educational resources/expert guidance. The grant is designed to arm artists with the necessary business skills to succeed as artists and entrepreneurs—and to make a living through their artwork. What's unique, however, is that all applicants will receive the career-building educational resources designed to drive career development. Here is a quick rundown of the important information: The deadline to apply is May 14, 2021.

Artist, and Cultural Alliance member, Tom Kretsch is President of the Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City Project and invites you to consider submitting a proposal for the placement of a celebratory sculpture in front of City Hall, Norwalk, to commemorate the Preliminary ideas center around a theme of "Two Cities--One Heart" - perhaps two impressions of bridges connecting the two communities might be a way to go. The Norwalk Art Space is seeking outdoor sculpture on a two-year loan. Commission includes $5,000 for two workshops/talks plus the loan of the art, delivered by May 1, 2021. Pieces should be no taller than seven feet and should be installed with threaded rods or expansion anchors. Artist Yvonne Shortt is passionate about public art. She's working with the Norwalk Art Space to create a framework whereby temporary public art is used as a catalyst for dialogue and action. For more information.
