There's something about the new year.

Something happens when we get REAL about time. 

Being conscious of how much time we have left occurs as we age. At the start of a new year, we are forced to witness the passage of time. But something happens as the year speeds up; we tend to settle and accept where we are. We give ourselves an excuse that the year has been set. But New Year's makes us wake up and see where we are right now. 

It's automatic to review how last year went and maybe even project into this year. And then, by February, we get into the year's momentum, and we forget that we had a possibility to make this year different.

What I want most for you is that you know what you want, and you courageously and unabashedly go for it. Whether that means you take this year to become the most courageous person who easily expresses boundaries and doesn't go along to get along. 

Or you're a small business owner and say, " I'm done with playing at this as a hobby. This is how I want to make my living, and I am committing to it."

Or your marriage has been lackluster, and you live two lives separately. You're saying, "I'm done with that. I want to create the intimate connection I had when we were first married."
