Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on the third day of the bright half of the Vaisakha month, which falls in April or May of the Gregorian calendar. "Akshaya" means "eternal" or "never diminishing," while "Tritiya" means "third day." The festival has both religious and cultural significance and is considered an auspicious day for new beginnings and starting ventures.
On Akshaya Tritiya, every moment is considered auspicious, and performing sacred deeds with a clean and pure heart is of utmost importance, anything done on this day multiplies. As we pray to Sri Maha Lakshmi Devi, let us also remember to cultivate the qualities of love, compassion, and humility in our hearts.
Under the divine guidance of our beloved Mother, Karunamayi Sri Sri Sri Vijayeswari Devi, special pujas and homas will be performed at the Manidweepa Maha Samsthanam in Amma's Penusila Ashram.
