Lord Ganesha is revered as the remover of obstacles and the bestower of good fortune. His blessings are sought before starting any new venture, as he is believed to bring success and prosperity to his devotees. Each month, a special day known as Sankatahara Chaturthi is observed to worship Lord Ganesha and seek relief from troubles and obstacles.

By keeping a fast and performing the sacred Sahasra Moduka Homa, we can receive the divine grace of Lord Ganesha and overcome personal challenges, bringing peace, happiness, and positivity into our lives. Under the Divine guidance of our beloved Mother, Karunamayi Sri Sri Sri Vijayeswari Devi, the Sahasra Moduka Homa will be performed at the Manidweepa Maha Samsthanam in Amma's Penusila Ashram, India.

Observing the fast of Sankatahara Chaturthi is believed to bring relief from various troubles and obstacles in life. It is a day to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha and strive for success and happiness. The fast is observed by abstaining from food, water, and negative thoughts from sunrise to moonrise and performing puja to Lord Ganesha in the evening or at least till noon.

During the puja and homa, Lord Ganesha is worshipped with garika (grass), flowers, fruits, sweets, and modakas. Devotees offer prayers to the Lord seeking his blessings and protection. The fast is broken by partaking of the prasad offered to Lord Ganesha.
