Amma Sri Karunamayi and SMVA Trust, our hearts and prayers go out to all those impacted by
COVID-19—this includes not only those diagnosed with the virus, but also their
friends and family, those whose jobs, businesses and schools have been impacted and so many
more. Our focus is, as always, on the health and safety of our global family
and communities.
The situation is changing rapidly, and to do our part in slowing the spread of
the virus, we have decided to postpone Amma’s 2020 N. America Tour until further
notice. We are following the guidelines provided by the Centers
for Disease Control (CDC) and the World
Health Organization (WHO). Additionally, we are following the guidance of
federal, state, and local officials in order to make informed decisions about the
future of the tour.
This situation is a serious matter that requires everyone to
stay calm and to use good judgment. Using good hygiene practices is one of the
most important choices that all of us can make to prevent the spread of illness
and to reduce the risk of COVID-19.
There is no question this is a time of great uncertainty. While we don't know
exactly what the future may hold, we feel confident that by staying united in prayer and
supporting each other, we'll emerge from this stronger than before.
