We've had a rough couple of years, but now...
2022: ARISING!
|
|
| Greetings Clients and Friends.
I so hope that you are having a joyful season and are able
to arise from the obstacles that you have experienced. We can focus on those
who love us and ask God to help us to love more people.
It really has been another challenging year. I saw it coming
in myself for months, but I ignored the signs and kept the accelerated pace. I
experienced exhaustion and tried to put aside my sadness for so many people in
need. I know I can’t change that people very close to me are suffering,
especially my sister for the past six years, for who so many of you have offered
prayers. How do you feel when you can’t solve an impossible issue for
someone you love?
I rarely become ill, but this year the whole household
participated. Even if you do everything right to remain healthy, the emotions
overtake us. The next thing that happens is our immune system is caught totally
off guard by what our emotions are doing to us. All the cells that are designed
to protect us go off duty as viruses and influenza variants go wild.
So let’s heal together from the people and situations that
will not change. A friend shared with me a Surrender Novena prayer which has
helped me heal in body, mind, and spirit. For me that is a continuing process. |
| | | Laughter is the best medicine. I watched the Lion King movie recently, which depicts good and evil and a plethora of emotions. One is Hakuna Matata, meaning no worries for the rest of your days. What a concept, as the worrying gets us nowhere. Click here to enjoy the song Hakuna Matata from The Lion King
My role this month is focusing on gratitude, but even more than mere gratitude. The people I know in my life who are my greatest inspiration have
untold hardship. If I start to worry or complain, thinking of them stops
that quickly. |
| | As we give thanks for our health and focus on joy and gratitude, more good will come. My friend Sandy, who has had three brain aneurysm surgeries, is one who inspires me. She sent me a beautiful, positive message every day by text. For over three years as she was disabled neurologically in her movement and in her speech, she never gave up. She trusted God for her outcome and has influenced thousands of people with live-giving messages daily.
Here is one of her daily reflections…
|
| To everyone who helped me this year, God bless you. To everyone who inspired me, I appreciate you. To everyone who prayed for me, I honor you. To everyone who stayed with me, I cherish you. To everyone who hurt me, I forgive you. To everyone who made me smile, I love you. To those I offended, I'm sorry. To those I disappointed, please forgive me. To those I couldn't talk to, I hope to do better. To those who love me through it all, You're the best! Happy New Year And God Bless You All! |
| | | | We
are now arising into a new year, 2022. The past is behind us. Our lives
are gifts. You cannot calculate how incredible your life is for others.
Your words, your smile, your presence. Never doubt how much you are
loved by others, especially God.
Every day we search for our purpose in
the small things. You will never know what an impact you have made on
somebody’s life, and you get another opportunity as a new year arises I wish you so many blessings of health and joy for the coming year.
Love, Dr. Lynne Kavulich
