• Vanessa German: In a Fit of Glory at Amarillo Museum of Art, during regular museum hours until April 5^th. Free. Come view the works of Vanessa German, and American sculptor, painter, writer, activist, performer, and poet based in Pittsburgh. 806.371.5050
• Barrio Art Show at Wesley Community Center (1615 S Roberts St.), January 17^th from 2 to 8 PM and 18^th from 5 to 8 PM. This project hopes to capture the history of the Amarillo Barrio Neighborhood through art and story. The Barrio has a rich history that many do not know about. • Beethoven @ 250 at Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, January 17^th and 18^th at 7:30 PM. The Amarillo Symphony beautifully performs the Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61 by Ludwig Von Beethoven. 806.376.8782.
• Baskerville at Amarillo Little Theatre, January 17^th and 18^th at 8 PM. The Hound of Baskerville has turned into a murderously funny adventure. Sherlock Holmes is on the case, as the male heirs of the Baskerville line are being dispatched. Join the fun and see how far from elementary the truth can be! 806.355.9991
• Black Magic Flower Power at Leftwoods, January 18^th from 8 PM to 1 AM. Come enjoy stoner-disco and desert-boogie as this band plays their unique blend of disco, pop, psychedelic rock, and funk. 806.367.9840
