- Art Opening at the Amarillo Museum of Art, October 11th from 6:30 to 9 PM. FREE. AMoA presents its Biennial 600: Textile + Fiber Exhibition! This is the eighth in an ongoing series of juried biennial exhibitions exploring specific areas of artistic practice, material, and content. 806.371.5050.
- Texas Archeological Society 90th Annual Meeting at The Embassy Suites, October 11th at 7 PM. FREE. The speaker, Dr. Don G. Wyckoff, will focus on "Pondering Southern Plains Prehistory". After the presentation, there will be an Artifact Identification Session.
- Amarillo Bull's Hockey Game at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex, October 11th and 12th at 7:05 PM. Come out to cheer on the Bulls as they take on the competition! 806.242.1122.
