  • Fantastic Visions: Surreal & Constructed Images, Amarillo Museum of Art, on view until September 4, 2022, Drawn from private collections, this exhibition showcases the work of artists and photographers who embrace the surreal and challenge reality through creatively constructed images and unique perspectives. Museum Hours: Wednesday - Saturday from 11 AM - 5 PM

  • FriendsWithYou: The Dance, Amarillo Museum of Art, on view until September 4, 2022,

    FriendsWithYou is the art collaboration of Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, created with the intention to bring more joy, kindness, and love to the world. The collaboration is a vehicle for the exploration of emotional healing through culture creation and art-making. Each work is created with the intention of transcendence, and nurturing care for the viewer or participant. Museum Hours: Wednesday - Saturday from 11 AM - 5 PM

  • Quinceañera Traditions, Panhandle-Plains Museum, on view until Jan/Feb 2023, Rich with historic and symbolic meaning, the pageantry of the quinceañera marks a fifteen-year-old’s journey from girl to woman. As a rite of passage, it is a celebration of food, family, and faith that encompasses both the old and the new. Museum Hours: Monday - Saturday from 9 AM - 6 PM / Sunday from 1 PM - 5 PM

  • Objects of Enchantment, Panhandle-Plains Museum, on view until April 2023,

    Step into your favorite fairytales in Objects of Enchantment! From light and whimsical to dark and brooding, PPHM will feature items from our collection found in your favorite fairy tales! Come learn how they were used in real life. After checking out the exhibit, everyone is invited to our maker’s space where there will be crafting, play and shopping. Museum Hours: Monday - Saturday from 9 AM - 6 PM / Sunday from 1 PM - 5 PM

  • Follow the arrows of the Quanah Parker Trail in the Texas Panhandle and learn about the Comanche and their last chief. www.quanahparkertrail.com/

  • Go on a scavenger hunt for all of the beautifully painted horses that are part of Center City's Hoof Prints of the American Quarter Horse project sponsored by The American Quarter Horse Association. www.centercity.org/hoof-prints
