- March of the Toys: Center City Electric Light Parade in Downtown Amarillo starting at 11th & Polk, December 6th from 6 to 9 PM. Don't miss The March of the Toys through downtown ending at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex. There will be free visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, food vendors, music, and the lighting of the city's Christmas Tree. 806.372.6744.
- Christmas in the Gardens at Amarillo Botanical Gardens, December 6th, 7th, and 8th starting at 6 PM. The gardens are covered in over 300,000 lights! Enjoy the lights, have pictures with Santa, hot chocolate, coffee, and a lot more! 806.352.6513
- ZOO Lights Safari at the Amarillo Zoo, December 6th, 7th, and 8th from 6 to 8 PM. The Zoo is going wild with holiday lights and festive music! Meet Rudolph, the Grinch, Frosty, and other holiday characters. There will also be games, crafts, hot chocolate, and so much more! 806.381.7911.
- Santa's Jolly Jamboree at Don Harrington Discovery Center, December 7th from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. $3 + admission. Enjoy a jolly good time filled with cheerful activities and delightful crafts to celebrate the holiday season! Santa will be available for pictures, and so will the Grinch (if you dare). 806.355.9547.
- Christmas Open House at Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, December 6th from 6 to 9 PM and December 7th from 1 to 5 PM. Free (suggested admission of one can of food per person). The museum will be bustling with Christmas activity as role players in Pioneer Town invite you to step in and step back to Christmas in the 1890s. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be ready to take requests from children, there will be holiday crafts, storytellers, and music! 806.651.2244.
- Christmas Light Tour meeting at the Walmart on Coulter, December 7th at 6 PM. $12.00. Hop aborad the Holiday Happenings Tour bus to experience the best lights Amarillo has to offer!
