The pass works as a digital coupon book that gives you discounts on entry to attractions, free apps, and perks at bars and restaurants, along with access to discounted rates at hotels. Once redeemed, you can easily access your pass via text, email, or “app”. The pass will guide you through the Panhandle based on your location, so you never have to worry about your next stop or wasting time.

Texas Panhandle War Memorial's NEW Education Center

Have you made a stop by the Texas Panhandle War Memorial lately? If not, you're missing out! Their newly opened education center honors the efforts and sacrifice of veterans across the region, providing a place for reflection and healing. Don't forget to stop at the War Memorial Park, a beautiful park with monuments and flags dedicated to honor all of our military personnel.

Tidings of the Trees Event

On November 18th at Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, guests will walk into a Christmas wonderland, starting with the museum’s signature tree leading into the tree forest, with 17 trees available for purchase or up for auction. This VIP event will be filled with jazzy holiday music, culinary creations from local caterer, Two Knives catering, and a festive signature cocktail. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the inaugural PPHM Christmas pin designed by local artists Kat Luciano and Gail Boone.


17 businesses are creating trees who are eager to help this fundraiser. It will be a night to remember culminating in a live auction. The trees will be available for viewing on the museum’s website beginning a week before the event to increase excitement and bidding opportunities.

Defying Gravity

On November 18th - 21st, Amarillo Little Theatre presents, Defying Gravity, a story that combines the lives of the past and present into a philosophical journey around the 1986 Challenger disaster.

Mozart's Requiem and a World Premiere

On November 19th and 20th at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, Jacomo Bairos conducts a world premiere of a new commission by Chris Rogerson, with the exquisitely talented J’Nai Bridges as guest soloist on this work. The evening also sees the performance of Mozart’s sublime Requiem, with its rich orchestration and unearthly luminosity — final, graceful, and serene, with guest soloists and voices. It’s an evening of endings, but it’s also one of beginnings for musical memories. The spotlight shines on Maestro Bairos and the orchestra, as they perform both a world premiere concerto and a timeless masterpiece. There’s no better way to bid a fond farewell to the extraordinary and dynamic tenure of Jacomo Bairos.

AMoA Biennial 600

Justice·Equality·Race·Itentity is the ninth in an ongoing series of juried biennial exhibitions exploring specific areas of artistic practice, material, and content. The exhibition will be on view from October 23rd - January 2nd during regular Amarillo Museum of Art Hours.

Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian

Learn the history of Native Americans in our area through their art and artifacts. Check out their amazing exhibits Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 PM (last visit at 4:30 PM)

Looking Forward Art Exhibition

Open 24/7 at the Cerulean Gallery in the Embassy Suites Downtown, this fundraising exhibition for the Amarillo Art Institute highlights 20 local artists who are affiliated with AAI!

Rock of Ages

Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum opens its newest exhibit on February 27th. This cool exhibit features over 200 rocks, minerals, and gems highlighting the dynamic and intense geologic history of this region and beyond. Come be dazzled by the richness of their color, texture, shape, and intricate patterns.
