| Happy New Year!
During last night's holiday party, we mixed all the tonics: - Co-Authorship
[scavenger hunt intuition exercise]
- Community
[friends, family, team, and clients]
- Writing
[favorite character + epic quest + mystery objects > newer and truer goals and stories for 2022!]
And, as people shared what they experienced, I was witnessed the truth that writing is one of the most powerful ways to: - deepen self-knowledge
[You might not believe what the pen tells you, but it's always the truth!]
- shift st*ries that are no longer serving us
[Once you see the moment of power, you can rewrite it!]
- write truer and healthier stories in our lives for ourselves,
those we love, and the larger world [As the co-author, you have the power to create opportunities for others to step into more empowered stories!]
I loved the share from one of my clients who told everyone how she had written a fictional story for her audience with absolutely no clue that it was actually her story. For two years, she wrote out the details of her past and her present circumstances and I asked her if she saw any connections; but she couldn't see them until it was time to see them. By the time she saw the connections, she had created a map to navigate one of the most challenging phases of her adult life.
But most wonder-inspiring was what happened next.
The key characters in her life, without reading her book, started to live into the healthy scripts and choices she had written for their corresponding characters in her book. What?!?!??!?!?
I'm telling you. When she called to tell me the details of conversations and I reflected back where those moments were already written in her book, we both were stunned speechless.

"This 90-day quest has served as a rigorous and in-depth self-assessment for every area of my life that truly matters most. The themes are mapped out in a way that engages principles that are far too often completely drowned out in the noise of our culture. This program helped me look more carefully at the foundational and dynamic structure of my life, the ways I perceive the people and world around me, and the quality of my engagement with that reality. It poked, prodded, and totally enhanced my honest evaluation of my story.
After all of this writing, processing, and balancing, I feel like I am feeling parts of myself in a whole other dimension. This was the perfect way to catapult me out of self-doubt and into my journey of self-trust this year. I also feel like I'm able to see others through a different lens of complexity which is actually making my life and relationship with them more simple. I've gradually built my faith in my own magic and abilities, and I am now believing more and taking tangible action based on trusting my intuition toward my goals. Thank you so much, Amanda! I am so glad I got to pilot this program with you for the first time ever."

Check out what Readers are Saying:
"I’m not sure what I was expecting when I sat down to read this for a friend, but the synchronicity that arose between what I read and where I find myself in this moment is undeniable. Just a few chapters in, I found myself feeling a range of emotions from inspired to gutted – it was incredibly beautiful and moving and so relatable. As I kept reading, in all the stories, Amanda's question, 'What is your story?', it just really resonated. I have felt like I 'should' be writing more academic, work-related stuff; but my heart hasn’t been in it the way it needs to be to get that work out there. After a few chapters and a short meditation, I realized the story I’m supposed to tell right now and received the title. I can’t imagine that any of this would have come up for me had I not read the chapters I did yesterday and spent some time reflecting on them – I’m so incredibly grateful!
This compilation on the reality of what it takes to put a message out into the world offers a series of raw, insightful narratives. Exploring each writer’s experience from internal and external perspectives, YCMTSU reveals the innermost thoughts of writers as they vulnerably navigate the insecurities of putting their deepest darkest thoughts out into the world for people to judge, while also learning to celebrate the little wins, and often finding joy and healing along the way.
This book is a powerful reminder that behind every story is a flawed human being who makes the choice to push past the fear to share their message with the world."
