| Anyone else feeling a little "messy" about the holiday season?
'Tis the season to be happy and merry, but sometimes that just isn't the case.
Some of us are... - grieving big losses: loved ones, health, relationships, jobs/businesses, a sense of normality/predictability, etc.
- navigating big changes/challenges: a new reality in career or business, a new role as a caregiver for an ailing loved one, a pandemic and landmine conversations around vaccinations and politics, etc.
- stretched beyond bandwidth: realizing that our health, relationships, projects, or work are requiring more than we feel capable of giving them
If any of those set off a little spark in you, I want to let you know that you are not alone and it's okay to be messy this holiday.
My prayer is that you have someone in your world that you can be real with this holiday -- someone who will sit with you in the messiness and let you know that it's okay.
