This shows you how much it costs to open a fast food chain in the United States.
At the high end, we have Sonic and Wendy’s (millions in franchise fees)… and at the bottom end we have Chick-Fil-A and Subway.
It only costs $10k to own a Chick-Fil-A franchise!
Now… That is how much you have to pay the corporation for the right to open your own franchise.
This doesn’t include the cost to develop the property, buy equipment, etc.
The costs can get into the several millions of dollars.
Not only that, they have to pay the corporation a percentage of their profits… FOREVER.
Now, here’s the crazy part…
What’s the payoff?
Riches untold? A wealthy lifestyle? Cars, boats, jewelry, domestic servants, and vacations?
Here’s the truth:
Most franchise owners make between $50,000 - $75,000 per year per store… and have to work crazy hours (60 - 80 hours per week).
So… after investing MILLIONS and taking out huge loans and risking their future…
The result is a five figure salary.
Yikes.
