Chapter & Alumni Featured Gamma Rho alumnus Bill Pulte ('07) was featured on the Shield & Diamonds special "Power Player" section. During his time at Northwestern, Bill secured on campus housing for the Chapter for the first time since recolonization, while making alumni outreach a top priority. Following graduation, Bill ran Pulte Capital Partners and founded the Detroit Blight Authority. He was named "Michiganian of the Year" and was selected as a Forbes "30 Under 30" member. He currently sits on the board of Pulte Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in America.
In addition, the Chapter was also honored for earning the second highest GPA for the entire International Fraternity (pg. 8), the International Work Day "Chuckwagon Award" (pg. 24), and in PIKE's Top 10 Plays for having the 2nd highest recruitment growth (84%) in the Fraternity (pg. 26). The culture of excellence at Gamma Rho is alive and well - good work men!

Gamma Rho Scholarship Endowment Continues to Grow
The Gamma Rho Endowment Fund which is used for student scholarship and expenses for Pike University is now in its second year. The fund is managed by a highly qualified team at the PIKE Foundation. The fund, which exclusively benefits Gamma Rho, is comprised of two accounts, the PIKE University Fund which has a balance of $100,000 and the John Jones Memorial Fund which has a balance of $38,000. The PIKE U fund is used to offset the expenses of sending Gamma Rho undergraduates to three unique PIKE U events each year including the summer conference. Fees for registration, travel, lodging, and meals can exceed $10,000 annually for the chapter. The Alumni Association has set out with a goal to achieve a balance of $250k in the PIKE U fund in order to fully cover these costs as the annual dividend is typically 4%.

Alumni Association Dues
Annual dues for the Alumni Association are $30. Dues can be paid here. Dues paying members receive the following benefits:
- Discounted event prices - Free quarterly newsletter mailed to your house - Voting privileges - Your name listed in the newsletter and website
Dues are used to pay for general operations including website hosting, newsletter production, planning future events, and annual dues to Memorial Headquarters. |
