Hello and Happy New Year! Today we received this beautiful picture from Binyamin Khristi, one of our partners in India. It's a picture of two BioSand Water Filters, though not like two we've ever seen. They have been transformed into not just life-saving filters that fight waterborne disease, but works of art that uplift the spirit. We are constantly in wonder of the ingenuity and artistry of people we meet living in the most challenging of circumstances. Our mission together is always to share knowledge about the basic building blocks for households and communities, starting with clean water. But our most important purpose might be providing and amplifying a voice to those who can't speak or won't be heard. As they stand and speak on a platform of self-reliance and opportunity, you make it possible for them to discover and create a new life. |
