It's been several weeks since I email you and I know I promised last time to tell you about cinemagraphs. I'll give you the short explanation now and share more in the future.
Cinemagraphs are a fairly recent development that evolved in the advertising and marketing world, originally from high-priced advertising firms and photographers or videographers who were experimenting with a new way to add small, repetitive movements to an otherwise static photo.
They have gotten great results because the movement catches the viewers' attention. There is not enough movement to make people expect to watch a video. But when they look at the photo, they soon notice that, surprisingly, something is moving!
Some people have referred to these as "living photos." Cinemagraphs have spread to the online marketing world and numerous apps have been developed to produce them more economically.
I'm thinking about offering a future training about several easy tools for creating these "living photos," including a technique for creating them in PowerPoint.
If you think you might be interested in either a free webinar or a longer paid training on this topic, please just reply to this email and let me know. You won't be obligated to attend; I'm just trying to guage interest at this point. Thanks!
