In commemoration of Women’s History Month, March 2022, the AWHPI, is hosting a virtual celebration of International Women’s Day 2022, Sustainable Tomorrow Starts with Women Climate Leaders Today. The theme is “Climate Change-Environment Disaster Risk Reduction”. Panel discussions will include defining climate equity, women leadership in climate resiliency, status of climate education, ways to integrate climate education and climate equity in communities, and opportunities to advance climate education through the lens of social equity.
