Subject: Highlights from Living Legends of Entrepreneurship

Be a Living Legend Of Entrepreneurship
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending an amazing event called the Living Legends of Entrepreneurship where we heard from legends like Martha Stewart, Dylan Howard, Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry's, Hal Elrod, Micheal Gerber, Ice T & Coco and many others. The event was at Carnegie Hall in the heart of New York city. Times Square was the busiest place I have ever seen and can't imagine it on New Year's Eve lol.

One of the highlights of the "Living Legends of Entrepreneurship" event held at Carnegie Hall in New York City, was from the final speakers Ice-T & Coco.

They had some amazing business nuggets to share and I wanted to pass them along to you. These were some of the points they made that were their secrets to success.
1. Get it in writing - "The paper remembers what the mouth forgets" Ice T.
2. Don't be a know it all and don't be afraid of rejection.
3. Maximize those breaks when they come your way.
4. Teach yourself the skill set to become what you need to be.
5. In business you are going to fail a lot, learn to take advice from someone you admire.
6. Help people along the way.
7. Be relateable and make good relationships along the way.
and most importantly...
8. NO ONE WAKES UP IN THE MORNING WITH YOUR DREAM!!! If you want to accomplish your dream, go after it don't expect anyone to be as passionate as you are for you to accomplish your dream!!!
What are some of your greatest secrets to your success? Reply to this message and let me know.
For me one of my greatest lessons aside from these above was that I chose to learn more about myself and what drives me.
Having my own Kolbe Assessment done was a huge Ah Ha and helped me understand myself in a way I never did before. Self-knowledge and self-awareness to me a huge keys to success.
