Subject: Happy Mother’s Day!

Pictured is a rare photo of me at the baby shower for my last child. I was about 34 weeks pregnant. This time I was ready for his early arrival in a couple of weeks.

My first child came completely by surprise. To say that the moment the doctor told me “You don’t understand, your baby will be born today”, was a shock, was beyond an understatement. I was 36 weeks along and buckling down for what most had warned me would be the longest 4 weeks of my life.

In less than 5 hours from the doctor dropping that bomb on me in his office, I was holding my baby girl in the hospital. I wasn’t quite sure what that journey of motherhood would be but I knew it would be an adventure. I had a quiet calm holding her, instinctively knowing that I was her mommy and will do my best to guide this little miracle in the world.

Mother's Day is a special day to celebrate the women who have made a profound impact on our lives. We’ve all had someone birth us, but they haven’t all been our mothers. So whether it's your biological mother, grandmother, aunt, or any maternal figure that was in your life, take this opportunity to show your love and appreciation for all that they have done and still do for you.

Let us honor their unwavering love, sacrifice, and devotion, and let them know how much they mean to us.

To all the mothers out there, thank you for your endless love and support. You inspire us every day.
