In 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
It was in the early stages and classified as DCIS at the time of diagnosis, At the time I felt I had some time to get my head and faith wrapped around it.
I was eternally grateful to have people in my life like Lydia Martinez Ebling who helped me navigate the gauntlet of treatments. She helped support not just my breast health but my overall health as I prepared for what was next.
The 1st doctor recommended a complete mastectomy of my left breast (she did not become my surgeon). What I learned was that the tumors were being fed by bad estrogen. In faith I was led to the person who knew more than that surgeon about hormones and estrogen - Lydia.
Between my prayers and the protocols she gave me stopped those tumors in their tracks, no they didn’t disappear, but the surgeon who removed the tumors said this to me after my final MRI before surgery. |
