This last week we were contacted by RestorationCity (aka StraightWay), who have an urgent need of our assistance. (RestorationCity is the only Christian residential rehab and training program in America for whole families as well as single guys and girls.)
They need some help with an emergency they incurred when their walk-in cooler went out, threatening the spoilage of all their food-stuffs in it. What they need is a few young men for 2-3 days to help disassemble the old cooler & prepare the site for a new cooler, provided by a special grant, to be installed next Monday. Housing and meals would be included.
While our current schedule makes it impossible for any of our “regulars” to respond at this time, I mentioned to them that we did have other ALERT reservists/responders in the Texas or S. Texas area that might be able to help and assist for a couple days. They need help THIS WEEK from Wednesday to Saturday, and are located just 40 miles southwest of Houston off Hwy. 59.
