Hello men:
I just returned from a Father/son camp in Pennsylvania with our CST group and will be headed out again for some personal days off so wanted to get out a final reminder about the November 1-3, 2019 Conquer Series Retreat being held on campus at our house.
I know I sound like a broken record (that’s an expression few of you can probably relate to) but I would urge you to consider coming for this great weekend of interaction, study and the formation of a team of men that are willing to do whatever it takes to begin the process of getting free from the bondage of pornography or, to get great material that will help you mentor other men in your church or your own sons in the battle for their souls.
Is there a good, solid reason why you couldn’t – or won’t attend? Do you see the seriousness of this issue and how it is destroying men (and an increasing number of women?) Over 70% of men in churches struggle with this and over 55% of all church leaders have succumbed in one manner or another. Let me put it another way: If I was to ask your wife – or parents if they saw value in you attending, how would they possibly answer? Is it a busy schedule, lack of seriousness or maybe even an element of pride (big or small) that is causing you to notmake a decision?
Please understand the following:
- I am not selling any material.
- I think you can see by the cost of the retreat that this is not designed to be a money maker.
- I am not desperate for enrollees. I already have a good numbers of registrants that will make for a great weekend of interaction and discussion, but I am concerned that there are still some out there that God may be speaking to about attending. If you are struggling or know somebody that is, don’t quench the Spirit’s nudging by waiting for “another time.”
There. I’ve said it. I’m asking you to trust me on this one, pick up the phone or email me and let’s make this an unforgettable weekend of men coming together for a common goal. This is my last promo on this event. For those already registered I look forward to seeing you all. Be in prayer in preparation for such.
