Greetings to the Alumni;
Hey just a quick and urgent request I want to get out to all of you regarding Hurricane Michael. I received a call yesterday from Samaritan’s Purse to see if we had any guys who could assist with the upcoming deployment in Florida. (At this point I do not believe a base has been set up but I would guess it is in the Panama City area.)
This request however is more specific. They are asking for guys who could serve as team leads and give direction to volunteers on job sites, to supervise the work itself, do follow-up paperwork, etc. It is not rocket science but it will require guys that have solid work ethics, feel comfortable leading others, the ability to give precise instructions, the ability to maintain a very safe work site environment (not taking any unnecessary risks) and spiritually mature. SP is asking for a minimum two weeks commitment for continuity purposes.
We are hoping to send a few guys from this area as well, but if you feel this is something the Lord might be leading you to do please call me immediately and I can share more details as to what site leadership is all about.
