The Cedar Rapids, IA area experienced some severe storm damage recently and we are exploring the possibility of serving there next week. We normally work with Samaritan's Purse but the challenges for both them and us with restrictions related to COVID-19 and testing make that difficult to work through right now.
Another issue is the damage and effects on the infrastructure in regards to power that has limited other options for us in regards to housing etc.
If you know of someone reasonably close to the areas that were affected (and they still have power) that would consider housing a group of about eight next week please let us know. There is no guarantee even this will enable us to go but I did want to pursue some potential options.
