| February, 2019 Dear Alumni:
Greetings again from the ALERT campus.
It’s been busy 2019 so far and I wanted to get one more letter out on what’s been happening before the reunion later this month. - With one of the largest ERT units in years, (42 men) we deployed half of ERT to Hurricane Michael recovery efforts in Panama City, Florida while the other half went on to Miami for their open and advanced open water dive training. The efforts in Panama City included mud outs, some tarping of houses and an incredible amount of tree work. Nine out of ten homes were damaged in that area and we were grateful to be a part of the effort of bringing not only physical assistance but spiritual encouragement as well. There are plans in place to return in late February to continue these efforts.
- In addition to the response in Panama City we also deployed men to assist at a Christian camp in central Florida on various projects. We are thankful for these service opportunities to assist other ministries as we partner together to further the kingdom. As a footnote, we now offer the opportunity for you to keep track of our disaster callouts by adding your name to an email list that will give you details and enable you to meet us on-site and work together for the kingdom. You can find that at www.alertacademy.com/alert/alumni.
- Our advanced training classes going on right now include EMT, Leadership and Communications and a Mobile Response Team.

| | It is two weeks and counting down for the 25th anniversary reunion on February 15-17; this is your final call out from me to join us for the weekend. If you haven't already registered and signed our guest book do it now! Our registration is approaching the 200 range as I write and what an encouragement it would be for you to be part of the family. I believe our concluding services on Sunday will be particularity meaningful during our open share time as you have an opportunity to communicate how God has been working in your life and/or perhaps how God used the ministry of ALERT as part of the journey. I also am well aware that many have gone through some spiritually challenging days since leaving and want you to know that nothing would be a better capstone on our time together than to hear your story and pray corporately as we unite together. In fact, your story of how God has been working over these years might be the very thing someone else needs to hear during this time of worship and fellowship. Please prayerfully consider going the extra mile to join us in this experience. May God bless you guys in the days ahead and keep in touch with our staff. Look forward to seeing many of you soon.
