| | | | IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO ANCIENT MAYAN PRACTICES WITH TRUE LIVING WISDOM KEEPERS
Join AJ Block,
Xango Shola and special guests Tata Pedro Cruz and Nana Marina Cruz of
the Tz’utujil Mayan Family of San Pedro de Atitlán
GUATEMALA
April 25 – May 5, 2018 (note updated dates)
You are invited to enter the Heart of Mayan Wisdom, a journey into ancient shamanic practices. On this pilgrimage we will reach places where indigenous communities
practice ancient ceremonies and prayers, upholding traditions which have
gone uninterrupted for thousands of years. Our journey into knowledge is focused on inner-development and
self-improvement through tangible tools passed from Mayan elders. Many
of these ways have been hidden away, protected from misuse by outsiders.
Now with the emergence of the Age of Aquarius, profound knowledge from
the Mayan people is being unveiled. The Mayan tradition is founded on
the manifestation of spirit in the natural world. Plants, animals,
minerals, the four elements, the cosmos, and everything found in the
natural world plays an important role in Mayan ceremonies and daily
life.
Wednesday, April 7 is your last chance to register!

| | | | Which type of didgeridoo is better for which style of playing? Eucalyptus are often termite-hollowed didgeridoos found in Australia, while Yucca didges are grown in the Americas. One is better for drone playing and one is better for beatboxing. Find out the pros and cons of each one in this video.
|
| | In this comparison of some of the best travel didgeridoos on the market we compare the carbon fiber telescoping Airdidge, the indonesian Wooden Spiral Didgeridoo and the 4-Piece Plastic Travel Didgeridoo. Each one of these instruments has a unique set of features and different reasons why you might want to get one. Check out the video and enjoy!
|
| | The RAV Drum company recently released 4 new scales in the key of B, plus we had our first ever B RUS in the shop. In this video we review these 5 RAV Drum models: B Major, B Minor Pentatonic, B Kurd (with double ding), B Integral and B RUS. All of these models (except for the B Major) are in minor keys, meaning they evoke a more mysterious, mystical mood, which we find great for meditative playing. The bright sound of the B Major creates a sunny joyful atmosphere. |

| | Didge
Project is a blog, youtube channel, series of courses and events,
instrument store and a collective of musicians who want to help you use
music as a tool for uplifting yourself and others around you.
On
our site you will find tips and tutorials to help you become a better
musician, didgeridoo lessons, instrument features and reviews, and
reports on the latest scientific research and spiritual discoveries
merging through the medium of sound.
When
we began in 2008 our main focus was on teaching how to play the
didgeridoo, a wind instrument originating in aboriginal Australia and
also said to be present in ancient Mayan times. After working with
countless people it became apparent that most musicians play multiple
instruments and that we have the community resources to help all
musicians get better results. While we still provide didgeridoo lessons,
classes and programs, our focus is to provide tutorials for music and
instruments from all around the world. Visit us for great music
resources at www.didgeproject.com |
