The Airdidge was awesome before, but now it is extremely versatile, as it can be utilized with any drone you like. You can also slide while playing to get that trombone-like pitch-shifting effect.

In this video, Didge Project's Jerry Walsh demonstrates the three styles of throat singing and how to do them with a shruti box (Indian drone instrument). The three styles of throat singing are Kargyraa, Khoomei, and Sygyt.
By singing with a shruti box, the voice can open up and explore the range of sounds within throat singing.

Hand Drum Basics is a FREE online course that will give you the skills necessary to sound great on hand drums, djembe, congas, etc. and to understand what it take to master the basics of rhythm. Much of what we cover in this class are tools to get you to sound good and seamless in your playing. Through a combination of video and worksheets you will be guided through a number of approaches to enhance your drumming.
