Giraffe Drinking at the Tembe Waterhole

Giraffe drink water every 2 to 3 days, and it's quite a complicated process. Bending down subjects their brain to an overload of pressure, and to reduce this pressure, they have a network of capillaries that constrict to control the flow of blood to the brain when they bend down, and when they stand up again.
