Subject: Elephant Kicks Buffalo In The Head! 🐘

Your Weekly Wildlife Update

Our virtual camera operators, known as “Zoomies,” are the secret sauce that sets Africam apart. These passionate wildlife lovers manage, record, and alert viewers of animal sightings. Without their involvement, Africam would simply be a camera placed in the wild. This international team truly brings life to the cameras.
We are always on the lookout for more volunteers to help operate our cameras. If you have some free time, a passion for nature, and access to a Windows computer, then becoming a Zoomie might be perfect for you! Apply below, and we will reach out to help you get started.

Africam collaborates with Explore.org to provide you with great NGO and conservation cameras across South Africa, featuring locations like Kamfers Dam, Stony Point, and the HESC rhino orphanage. But did you know we also host two shows each week with Explore.org?

Tune in for "The Africam Show", airing on Tuesdays on Explore.org and Africam.com. This show includes a live Q&A session and expert commentary from a safari guide while showcasing our live cameras.

When & Where

  • Tuesdays at 4 pm SAST / 7 am PT / 10 am ET

And “Wild Moments” airing on Thursdays - experience wild moments from the African bush captured by our live cameras. It features highlights from the live cameras along with discussions led by expert safari guides. The show is both live and interactive.
