Subject: Africam Subscriber Updates

 HELLO AFRICAM SUBSCRIBERS!

February is nearly coming to an end! It has been a busy month at Africam behind the scenes. We are still addressing a few camera issues and preparing for exciting new installations scheduled for March and April. While some may worry that new camera setups might overshadow current maintenance, both tasks are equally crucial. Sometimes, certain repairs just require more time to complete. We are always grateful for your ongoing support!

NKORHO

Nkorho is currently offline. We are awaiting external service providers to arrange maintenance on the tower in the Sabi Sands to restore power to the Nkorho camera. Additionally, we require a qualified tower climber to perform the necessary work.

SOUND UPDATES

We have successfully restored live sound to Mabula. Currently, a new microphone is en route to Tembe. Unfortunately, the Naledi dam microphone has been damaged by water from the rain; however, spare parts have been ordered for repairs.

SNAP SHOTS

We have made progress with the snap feature, and it now operates significantly faster, allowing you to browse three times the number of images when snapping a pic. However, we are still addressing some issues such as black snapshots and half-picture errors.

ALERTS

We are in the process of creating a mobile alerts application that will notify you when an animal is seen on the live cameras. Additionally, we are addressing alert issues on the website, particularly with animals like hyenas that are currently not functioning properly. We aim to resolve these issues within the next month.

Your satisfaction with the Africam subscription is important to us. We value your feedback and would like to know what you think of our services. Please share your thoughts with us so we can enhance your experience and offer a better product
