New to the Africam Team

Africam have two new team members who have joined.


Kirsten has joined as Head of Production. Kirsten has vast experience in wildlife production and has been instrumental in bush storytelling; working with world-renowned rangers and production and editing teams. Kirsten will be heading the Africam shows and partnership with Care for Wild, as well as some exciting new projects coming.


Aidan has joined as the Head of Content. Aidan's expertise lie in e-learning and video production. He has been responsible for scripting, designing and producing many course programs and content pieces for a global audience. Aidan will be focussing on the new Africam Junior Ranger program, new educational content and stories, and exciting new Africam partnerships.

Ranger Update

Resident Ranger Phil is back guiding for the moment, so Russell Gerber will be hosting the shows on Wednesdays. We are also excited to announce the rangers joining as guests on our new shows

Africam has partnered with Care for Wild, the largest orphan Rhino sanctuary in the world.


Africam is the official content and marketing partner of the Care for Wild rhino sanctuary. The partnership was established to create a sustainable model for the rescue and rehabilitation of rhinos and showcase the conservation work that Care for Wild do to a global audience.

New Junior Ranger Program

We have launched the new Junior Ranger Program with the first three available courses; lions, leopards and cheetahs.


Our video-based interactive learning provides educational entertainment for children. They have the opportunity to learn at their own pace, in their own time, with new courses released every month.

New Cameras

We have installed some exciting new cameras. Kamfers Dam, where you can see greater and lesser flamingos, as well as other exciting wildlife – there was a very rare aardvark sighting recently. Lisbon falls will also be launching soon, a beautiful waterfall camera that captures peaceful African scenery.
