LEARNING WITH THE BUSH BABIES

We spent some time with the Bush Babies, learning about the classifications of wildlife. The Bush Babies are passionate about wildlife and strive to educate the local communities on the importance of conservation. They currently offer an education to 10 schools in the local communities of the Greater Kruger. In partnership with Africam, for every Junior Ranger that subscribes, we can develop digital learning for these communities.

ON PATROL WITH THE BLACK MAMBAS

The Africam team was lucky enough to join the Black Mambas on a foot patrol. The Black Mambas is an Anti-Poaching Unit protecting all boundaries of the Bulule Nature Reserve. With a passion for wildlife conservation, these women are the voice of the communities, striving to address the impact of poaching and snaring. By working with the Black Mambas, we want to help educate communities and drive conservation. Just by watching our Live cams, you can help spot snaring and poaching in these areas.

AFRICAM PARTNERS WITH CARE FOR WILD

Africam has partnered with Care for Wild, the largest orphan Rhino sanctuary in the world. Look out for new content coming from this exciting partnership.

JUNIOR RANGER COURSES COMPLETE

Today saw the completion of our first Africam Junior Rangers programme. We would like to thank all those who took part, and want to say congratulations to all our certified Junior Rangers. We will be launching new Junior Ranger courses soon, with videos, interactive assessments, quizzes and downloadable content. We will also be launching adult courses, so you can become a wildlife expert and follow our Live cams with new knowledge.

NEW PREMIUM CAMERAS LAUNCHING

We have installed some exciting new premium cameras for subscribers. Our new Nomad Cam, aka the Green Mamba, is a nomadic camera that follows the action. We've already captured some amazing sitings you won't see anywhere else.

We have also installed the Rosie Rock Cam that captures some amazing personal moments. Moments you can only catch on Africam.

NEW WILDLIFE ALERTS

Africam will be launching new wildlife alerts for subscribers. As you watch our live cams and spot your favourite wildlife, the alerts will direct you to a camera that picks up the action, telling you what animal has been spotted, and which camera it has been spotted on.
