Trick or Treat?
Well, it's 23:35 here in London today, the fireworks in the air is a beautiful scene.
I was doing a bit of research online and came across the following:
- The economy is changing.
- Job security isn't anything like it used to be anymore.
- High street shops are closing left, right and centre at an alarming speed.
- Any tweet from the President has an impact on the economy.
Not keeping up with the times is not an option anymore.
In 2017 the UK's high streets suffered 5,855 store closures as physical retail space is being driven out by the popularity of online shopping.
In 2018 alone we have lost Maplin, Toys R Us, Carpetright, Mothercare, Prezzo and Poundworld have gone into administration.
A total of more than 35,000 retail and restaurant jobs have been lost or at risk.
I don't say this to scare you, but to help you get ahead of the curb and give you the opportunity to educate yourself and escape the inevitable.
