🔘 Take Responsibility Blame yourself. All time.
If things don't go the way you wanted, stop bothering others about what doesn't work. Take full responsibility for what happens. Learn from your mistakes and superbly identify what you could have done differently and what you will do next time to avoid facing the same problems. Taking it out on others never solves a situation. Rather it puts you in a negative state and adds emotional confusion to your ability to plan and decide what is best to do. "Remember, the moment you accept total responsibility for everything that happens in your life is the moment you take hold of the power to change anything in your life." Source: Hal Elrod 🔘 Check the Direction “From time to time, maybe once a year or two, I find it essential to ask myself a set of questions. Where am I going? What am I chasing? Where do I want to be, what is my next step? Because? and also: Is this direction I'm taking, the really right direction? What does my heart and intuition say, and not my fears and doubts, about the road I am taking? Stop and think. Above all, remember why you are doing what you are doing and reevaluate if what you are doing now is the best way to improve your life and to get closer to your values and ideals. Ask yourself: does my path have a heart? "
🔘 Put Black on White It may seem like a silly redundant activity, because one thinks they already have it all clear in their head. But, believe me: you're just deluding yourself. Fear plays bad tricks when our stress levels are high and we are constantly under pressure. It is one thing to have a "rough idea" of where one would like to go and be, another thing is to put pen to paper, in clearly understandable words, where this "place" is and what it is characterized by. Until you put it down on paper, it's just in your head. No chance of it becoming reality in the short term. But once you write down what you want, and where you want to be, things will start to change. You will have to seriously confront your ideas and take them and make them yourself.
You will have to look in the eye at the benefits of changing, taking risks and letting go of what you have versus the disadvantages of staying where you are now, hoping for something good to happen. "People who have clear, written goals can accomplish much more in a much shorter time than those who could never have imagined by not doing this." Source: Brian Tracy - "The Law of Clarity".
