Brave people don't look the other way. They are not silent when something needs to be said. They do not bow to popular conformity (or that of a leader) when they have a different opinion. Brave people have their say, take a stand, declare what they believe in.

Brave people have the same fears and worries as everyone else. Courageous people understand that their past has influenced who they are in a major way and that the future will present them with setbacks and difficulties.
But brave people don't let the distractions of the past, the future, limit them from doing what they want or feel the need to do here now. Rather these people gather their energies and abilities in the present and realize most of their existence in this space.
