30 Day Notice
Oooh, that headline sounds ominous, doesn't it? Don't worry. Things are changing for the better. Monday April 30 the Lighthouse Law Club will no longer accept memberships at the Pathfinder or Constitutional Commando level as we have been up until now.
New members and upgrades will be accepted until midnight EST April 30, 2018. These membership packages are highly valuable far beyond what is being asked for them and they won't be offered with their 'all inclusive' benefits beyond the deadline. Unfortunately, many of our members don't seem to see the value and many of the benefits are simply being 'wasted' and not used in the way they should be.
Existing members will be supported the same as always and we'll continue accordingly.
But don't worry. It's not a step 'back' in any way, shape or form, but we'll be advancing two or three steps forward when you understand what we'll be doing.
Before I outline 'what comes after' let me explain why we're doing this.
The vision and purpose of the law club, from the very beginning, was to have a 'member driven' organization and community where we could all advance in our knowledge and capabilities by sharing our own personal knowledge, experience, tests, trials and successes. I envisioned having a membership which was engaged in learning and applying new found knowledge and processes to advance themselves into a higher position of freedom and abundance.
Let me be perfectly honest. That vision has fallen flat on its face and just hasn't happened. If I were to drill down on that subject, it would get more negative than I care to be so let's not go there.
Our 3 years of experience with LLC have shown us in spades that people just don't have the time, energy or interest in applying themselves to a dedicated discipline of learning and connecting the dots and putting things together to formulate their own plan of action and then implementing it. The amount of information and resources we have is a bit overwhelming to some and yes, it could always be better organized, but the bottom line is simple. We're just not getting the job done with this model and something has to change.
Some people, i.e. losers, would say, "well that model doesn't work, so let's just quit." Well I'm not a loser and I don't quit. My attitude is simple. We either live free, or die. Nothing more. Nothing less. If we can't lead from our own example and show others how it's done then we all might just as well curl up and die because that's where society and the lost people who make it up will be going by default. I hope you're not one of those!
Thankfully, for the parts which I contribute from my end, I know what the hell I'm talking about from my own personal experience. I'm walking the talk. I don't see too many others out there in the same position. (like none) I've accomplished freedom to a degree which I had never dreamed possible in earlier years of living in absolute poverty. Maybe you think you have it pretty tough. I doubt that you've ever had it more tough than I've had it. You may not know this, but I've actually been homeless for a time. I would sneak into offices at night to sleep on the couch, then living in a bunkbed with the kid of one of my friends, or scraping together $10 so I could go over to the YMCA to at least have a bed for the night. I've lost 'EVERYTHING' three times in my adult life and had to start my life over completely from scratch without an income. Fast forward to today and you know how I live now. You want some of that?
You've heard the old saying: "Either lead, follow or get the hell out of the way." and that's pretty much the attitude we're taking here.
The current 'status quo' for the law club has me working way too hard and we're just not getting anywhere with it. Those are the facts. So something has to change, in a BIG way, and it is. Read on... |
