Hi Friend
Over the years, with my efforts in promoting opportunities in business and finance and creating personal financial independence there always seems to be someone who doesn't know me who is willing to chastise me for chasing ‘mammon’ as an idol.
My response is very simple and it’s this: “As a kingdom builder how are you going to provide help and give to the needy (your own family included) when you’re financially unable? There’s a venerable place for people who sincerely offer a vow of poverty…and it’s called a Monastery. Unless you are in a monastery, you were created to be abundant and capable to claim your territory and expand it with authority while helping others along the way.
Matthew 6:24 tells us that we cannot serve two masters, God and mammon. But blessings will abound when you serve God ‘WITH the mammon he provides you. See the parable of the talents to learn how he rewarded the good steward who multiplied the money he was given. Matthew 25: 14-30
““You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirm His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” – Deuteronomy 8:17-18
It ultimately comes down to your purpose: Is it to serve yourself, or to serve HIS Kingdom by serving others?
Our mandate as Kingdom builders is to 'Enlarge our territory'. See 1 Chronicles 4:10, Deuteronomy 19:8 and Isaiah 54:2-3. So in view of the above, those who wish to be good stewards and loyal Kingdom Builders need to take heed of the following statistics and trends; Check this out….
