The first festival of the season is ADFF:NY in mid-October. This year we will be at a new theatre, East Village by Angelika, in the heart of the East Village on 2nd Ave and 12th Street.
Our opening night film will be the US Premiere of Modernism, Inc. The film highlights the incredible life of Architect Eliot Noyes, a transitional figure in the history of American design. Noyes brought a modernist approach to corporate America. His impact on companies like IBM and Mobil paved the way for design-conscious companies like Apple. After the film, we'll celebrate with a party at Moxy East Village. Tickets are on sale now. You can just get a ticket to see the film ($20) or tickets for the film and afterparty ($50). Seating is limited, so buy opening night tickets now! Tickets for all other screenings are $16 or you can purchase 5 tickets for $55.
Some special guests have already been confirmed, including Clodagh, Nathaniel Kahn, podcaster Avery Trufelman, and many of the films' directors. The complete lineup of films and talks will be shared in our next newsletter. |
