Nov 3, 2017 Day 3 of the festival promises to be a great night of film and conversation about architecture and design.
The 6:45 screening of REM is sold out, but there will be a rush line. There are still tickets available for the Saturday night screening of REM.
At 7:00, the US premiere of Integral Man, will be followed by a Q&A with the director Joseph Clement.
At 8:30, the world premiere of Face of a Nation will be folllowed by a Q&A moderated by Michael Sorkin who will be talking with the the director Mina Chow and design historian Beverly Payeff-Masey.
At 9:00, we'll be screening the world premiere of Made in Ilima. This film follows a MASS Design project in a remote area of the Congo. It's about a new conservation-focused primary school using local materials and techniques but bringing the forward-thinking architectural ideas of MASS Design to the project. The co-founders of MASS Design - Michael Murphy and Alan Ricks - and the director Thatcher Bean will be there after the screening for a conversation.
