ADFF, WantedDesign, Industry City and Consulate General of Denmark present the New York premiere of Boris Bertram’s latest film, The Human Shelter, an epic, poetic journey investigating how we, as human beings, design and build our homes. The film explores the concept of the "home" and how humans express themselves creatively within that sacred space, whether it’s a lagoon settlement in Lagos, a refugee camp in Iraq or a six square-meter dwelling in Tokyo.
Part of IC Design Festival by WantedDesign, the event will take place May 16th in Courtyard 5/6 of Industry City right next to Distillery Row and some fabulous food vendors. Come kick-start summer by heading over early, trying some of the delicious, locally-made food and drinks and enjoying the panel discussion and film en plein air.
