Dear Friend of the ACMS,
Please consider helping the ACMS maintain its momentum into 2016 and beyond with a tax-deductible year-end donation. With your help, we can continue to build the field of Mongolian Studies, with programs to support academic exchange and understanding between Mongolia and the worldwide academic community.
2016 will be a big year for the ACMS in Mongolia, and in the U.S. as we continue to provide fellowship programs, our summer intensive language program, the Books for Mongolia program, as well as two new projects: the Cultural Heritage Program (CHP) led by Dr. Julia Clark (funded with support from the Henry Luce Foundation), and a
4-week Summer Institute on Modern Mongolia (funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities) at the University of Pennsylvania. With two new projects in the coming year, the ACMS is in a great position to expand--but we need your help!

We need your support to continue to grow. This year we want to highlight three critical areas of need:
First, please support ACMS efforts to provide books to Mongolia, through our Books for Mongolia Program and the ACMS Research Library. Your monetary donation will allow the ACMS to buy and distribute critical scholarship that is unavailable in Mongolia, helping local scholars build a foundation for future success.
Second, consider donating your own book collection or specific volumes to the ACMS for use in Mongolia. We will organize shipment to Mongolia and insure the books are placed in an appropriate collection. Contact the ACMS office for more information.
Third, your donations will allow us to expand our academic fellowship programs. We are seeking to raise $20,000 in 2015-16 to endow a fellowship position for emerging Mongolian and international scholars. |
