Scholar's Corner The Scholars Corner is an informal gathering aimed at providing an opportunity for visiting academics, resident scholars and interested individuals to meet, discuss their research and exchange ideas.
May 22nd Scholars Corner – Dr. Bill Fitzhugh & Dr. Paula Depriest
Dr. Fitzhugh & Dr. Depriest (from Smithsonian Institution) will lead an open discussion on Mongolian archeology and cultural heritage preservation. Main topics of discussion will include Mongolia's challenges in trying to preserve its cultural heritage, and why the past is important.
The event will start at 6pm on the 2nd floor lounge of the Sant Azar Hotel on Seoul Street next to the ACMS. Hope to see you all there. Cash bar will be available.
