| | | On behalf of ACMS, I am writing to wish you a joyous new year full of happiness, love, learning, and adventure. As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support over the past twelve months. Everything we do, from our Field Schools to our Speaker Series to our Language Program and beyond, we do for and because of you. Your dedication, support, and involvement in this community is what gets us out of bed every morning, and we are excited to kick off our next 20 years of programs, events, and fellowships. I am humbled to be concluding my first six months as the U.S. Director of ACMS in such good company, and I am confident that the generosity and enthusiasm of you who comprise the Mongolian Studies community will make 2025 our best year yet. We have big plans for the coming year, including Research, Language, and Library Fellowships, three different summer Field Schools, twice-monthly, bilingual Speaker Series events, and brand new programs we'll be announcing soon. But we can't do it without your help. To that end, I invite you to keep ACMS in mind as you finalize your charitable contributions this December. A gift of just $25 will purchase a new book for our library, while $100 will aid in the creation of Mongolian language teaching materials and $1,000 will provide a fellowship for a Mongolian student to have a life-changing summer experience at one of our Field Schools. I am so grateful to those of you who have supported us already and can assure you that a donation to ACMS is a donation that makes a difference. I look forward to thanking each and every one of you personally for your support. In the meantime, I hope you have a relaxing holiday season and a happy new year.
