The Trim The Tree Quilt Class with Terry Stafford will be held on
November 15, 2019. Instruction will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM
for a total of 6 hours. The Retreat Center will remain open until 8 PM
for those who want to continue sewing after instruction ends.
Students will have a choice of two patterns to use, the “Tall Trim The
Tree” or “A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree”. Both are designed by Cindi
Edgerton and are Tissue Paper Foundation Patterns. They are both great
Paper Piecing projects!
The Tall Trim The Tree project will create a tree that could be just
the right size for smaller homes with a finished size of 26.75″ X
76.75″. You can roll it up for easy storage. To decorate the tree, hang
ornaments on 25 buttons that embellish the quilt.
The A Little Bit
Shorter Tall Tree project will create a tree that is a smaller version
of the Tall Trim The Tree and is perfect for smaller spaces. You could
also display it in an office or child’s room. You can decorate the tree
with buttons to hang a few of your favorite ornaments. The finished size
is 17″ x 41″.
